If my tests (ALT and AST) are normal, is it not worth worrying?

What are the early symptoms of liver cirrhosis?
Since the liver is a silent organ, the early symptoms of cirrhosis are often not felt and patients usually apply to us at the late stage of the disease. When cirrhosis is not detected and diagnosed in time, serious complications such as bleeding of esophageal veins, encephalopathy, tendency to drowsiness and loss of general orientation can occur.
Why is fatty liver dangerous?
Although not every fatty liver leads to cancer, this risk exists under certain conditions. Genetic factors play a major role in fatty liver leading to a malignant tumor. If a person has a genetic predisposition to liver diseases, fibrosis occurs first, then it turns into cirrhosis, and in the final stage, hepatocellular carcinoma can develop.
Do painkillers harm the liver?

Are food supplements and herbal remedies beneficial for the liver?
It is not allowed to use food supplements and herbal preparations without doctor supervision. Such preparations can block the phospholipid layer on top of the liver, causing a further increase in bilirubin in the blood and a toxic effect. The cases of additional drug administration and taking unnecessary drugs that we encounter during the applications of our patients do not help the treatment, on the contrary, they can harm the organism.
Is elastography examination painful?
Elastography examination is performed without breaking the skin integrity, painlessly and without injury. No pain or discomfort is felt during the examination. Thanks to this method, we obtain a result without the need for a biopsy.
Is preparation necessary for elastography examination and how long does it take?
No special preparation is required for the examination, but it is recommended to come on an empty stomach. The duration of the examination is short and takes 5-15 minutes. The patient lies down just like in an ultrasound examination and holding the breath for only 5 seconds is enough.
