A virus first detected in the blood does not yet inform us of hepatitis C. For this, we certainly perform a deeper examination, conducting a PCR analysis for the virus. If the virus is detected in the PCR analysis, the patient is diagnosed with hepatitis C.
Is hepatitis C - the hidden enemy, treatable?
Of course, the hepatitis C virus is treatable and successfully carried out. According to new data, this virus undergoes more mutations, i.e., changes, and its new genotypes have emerged. However, despite this, modern drugs are constantly developing, and we are able to successfully carry out treatment with modern medications.
